Hello

After much contemplation and failed attempts at starting a blog, here I am today. With a little encouragement and motivational push from a computer science assignment (at Lonestar), I am finally fulfilling a task from my bucket list. The truth is, I have always wanted to start a blog documenting my journey as a pre-pharmacy student; however, I constantly had a fear of being judged.

Who am I? I am a fellow student and human finishing up her last semester as an undergraduate student. I love watching shows, varying from k-dramas to cooking/baking shows. I enjoy experimenting with baking and am always looking for different opportunities to try something new. I am pursuing my dream of becoming a pharmacist. With this blog, I hope to share my personal experiences in this field as well as provide a welcoming place for everyone, no matter who you are.

There are many unspoken things that numerous pre-pharmacy students goes through that are rarely addressed.  1. Don't stretch yourself too thin I know that once you commit to the field, it is hard to not put an immense pressure on yourself. Many students think that joining numerous clubs will put yourself above others and will polish your specs for when you submit your application. I also had that mindset of trying to join as many clubs as possible, but you end up facing the consequences fast. Often times you will wring yourself out to dry and give little room for other hobbies and interests. My Favorite Study Tools

In today's age with advanced technology, many students resort to taking notes on their computers. I like to hand-write my notes because it forces me to physically write out my thoughts and, in turn, makes me retain the information inputted in for a longer duration. Hand-writing notes can be dreadful (believe me, I know); however, with great tools to guide the way, it makes it a bit more bearable. So here are my top brands that I love using: 1. Muji Pens As a pre-pharmacy student, you go through a lot of carbon paper for labs, and I find that Muji pens are the perfect pens to write with. They are generally thin (however, they have various sizes) and transfer perfectly onto the carbon paper. For standard paper, it does not bleed and does not smear (yay!). As a left-handed person, I am really picky about my pens and these pens definitely pass my test.
