My Favorite Study Tools
In today's age with advanced technology, many students resort to taking notes on their computers. I like to hand-write my notes because it forces me to physically write out my thoughts and, in turn, makes me retain the information inputted in for a longer duration. Hand-writing notes can be dreadful (believe me, I know); however, with great tools to guide the way, it makes it a bit more bearable. So here are my top brands that I love using:
1. Muji Pens
As a pre-pharmacy student, you go through a lot of carbon paper for labs, and I find that Muji pens are the perfect pens to write with. They are generally thin (however, they have various sizes) and transfer perfectly onto the carbon paper. For standard paper, it does not bleed and does not smear (yay!). As a left-handed person, I am really picky about my pens and these pens definitely pass my test. These pens come in various colors and sizes and are relatively affordable!

2. Zebra Mildliner
In the #studygram world in Instagram, Mildliner's are widely known and extremely popular highlighters. I was initially exposed to these highlighters when I won a stationary raffle at my annual pre-pharmacy banquet. Once I started using them, I finally understood why so many people loved them. They glide very easily on paper and no matter how light or dark the shade of color it is, it will never bleed and stays sheer on top of your writing. I am an avid highlighter, so naturally, I had to collect multiple shades. Having multiple colors can act as another organizational tool to sort out different subjects or different topics. These as well, are fairly affordable and it can be purchased individually or in packs.
3. Monster Study Planner
Being on top of your activities makes life much easier and more organized. I love taking my time in jotting down all the things that I need to accomplish. At the beginning of each semester, I go through each syllabus for every class and record down all my test/quiz/homework dates in my planner. Then as each week progresses, I sort out what I need to finish within the week and read over what I have on the upcoming weeks. Planning out my schedule with a planner allows me to see when I have time to do other stuff outside of school. With the Monster Study Planner, it comes with many different parts within itself. Inside, it comes with a year-long planner which includes a monthly overview, a weekly breakdown, a daily study plan, exam time table, to do lists, wishlists/bucket lists, and even slots for vacations. It is an all inclusive planner and it will definitely keep you on track with your academic and personal goals.
